Job Responsibilities:
Support the procurement and management of logistics services—including warehousing, transportation, logistics operations, and other related support activities—while ensuring the lowest total system cost and strong internal customer satisfaction.
Liaise with the Zone Logistics Procurement Team to develop logistics sourcing strategies, negotiate commercial terms, and support commitments related to Logistics.
Lead process improvements with internal logistic teams and external partners across Canada.
Support the achievement of Zone logistics savings targets by identifying and leading cross‑functional strategic initiatives and leveraging best practices across AB InBev.
Oversee day‑to‑day logistics service programs to ensure uninterrupted, on‑time execution of logistics services, while ensuring supplier adherence to commitments.
Evaluate alternate logistics solutions and operational models that can offer cost‑to‑serve and service‑level advantages while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational reliability.
Develop and maintain market expertise within assigned logistics categories.
Provide analytical and service support to logistics leadership, including cost modeling, operational impact analysis, KPI reporting, and contingency coverage for logistics partners.
Improve working capital performance through optimized contract structures and negotiation of favorable payment terms.
Leadership and management of Logistics procurement activities in Canada.
Strategic development and successful implementation of cost leadership programs based on ‘InBev Way of Procurement’, through collaboration on cross‑functional councils, leveraging scale, sharing best practices, challenging the business, and increasing value add.
Management of Logistics suppliers through development and performance assessment.
Understanding the needs of internal customers and ensuring that these are met by the provision of proper use of InBev procurement practices, policies, and procedures.
Think, influence, and act on a strategic level to ensure that effective tactics and high performance metrics are in place to drive decision taking in Logistics in NA zone.
Effective management of external vendors ensuring adequate coverage for goods and services in Logistics; ensuring competitive suppliers’ environment for bidding processes.
Influence over $45‑60 MCAD annual spend.
Job Qualifications:
Engineering, Business degree and/or MBA
Minimum of 5 years experience with progressively more senior positions in either Procurement or in a business role with considerable interaction with suppliers
Good understanding of business and commercial principles
Proven ability to set targets and achieve cost savings
Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills; strong communication skills
Warehousing experience considered an asset
