Job Description You will be working on a 100% remote schedule as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement.

Please note This is a fixed-term contract position scheduled to end in February 2027.

Business Overview The Digital Applications Development Team is responsible for the development and application support of all Internet web applications, including a focus on mobile for Fidelity Canada in addition to developing and supporting our internal corporate web site. We work closely with our business partners to deliver a superior online experience focusing on stability, performance, and service delivery.

How You'll Make An Impact We are looking for a Java Software Developer who will take a key role on our team. The ideal candidate must have knowledge in all stages of software development and seamlessly move between back‑end development and front‑end development. You will be working alongside and collaborating with our team architects and developers, and you will be responsible for creation and support for Fidelity Canada’s web properties.

Develop, code, install, test, debug, and document Web applications

Ensure security of all Web sites and related applications

Communicate with business and participate in scrum meetings

What We Are Looking For

University degree, preferably in the field of Computer Science or equivalent working experience

Minimum 2 years of software development experience

Solid understanding and working knowledge of technology stack e.g. React/Angular, Java, Spring/Spring boot, API (REST/SOAP), JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, XHTML, CSS, CSS3, jQuery, SQL/PLSQL

Hands on with DevOps and complete SDLC cycle till production release and support

AWS clouds and experience with Content Management System would be an asset

Prior Investment or Mutual Fund experience is an asset

Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus A competitive annual range of $101,000 to $130,000 based on your experience and qualifications.
