What is the Opportunity
As Senior Manager, Premium Cards Finance, you will collaborate with Finance & Credit Cards business partners to drive profitable growth through insightful business and financial analysis. With strong financial modelling skills, solid statistical understanding and exceptional business acumen, you will develop business cases, analytical frameworks and perform ad hoc analyses to guide business decisions. This role provides support for financial results and forecasting/planning processes. Applies extensive, in-depth knowledge, skills, and practices to perform complex assignments.
What will you do?
Collaborate with Credit Cards business and finance colleagues to setup new products requirements and ensure financial results are accurate
Develop Credit Cards business case models to ensure consistency of financial analysis leveraging best practices, product profitability and campaign profitability data sets
Enhancing finance effectiveness through forecast/planning model improvement, improve data insights, forecasting methodologies and reporting
Collaborate with partners across the Bank on key initiatives and ensure financials are accurate and insightful, to inform business decision making
Create Premium Cards P&L for management reporting, portfolio performance management, and drive insights
Responsible for reporting, forecast/planning, card networks and interchange reporting and analysis
Responsible for establishing the proper ongoing governance structures with business partners
Responsible for establishing key performance monitoring activities to track progress against key milestones and proactively identify profitable strategies to exceed targets
Responsible for monthly financial reporting, business performance review and presentation to Senior Management Team
Monthly reporting and analysis, including variances, accrual, invoices; and driving actionable insights and recommendations
Proactively explore and implement opportunities to improve and streamline processes to increase capacity for deeper analysis and proactive deep-dives on topical areas of interest
Co-ordinate and consolidate month-end reporting, and forecasting/planning FP&A related activities for Cards & Loyalty
Ad hoc support for Cards & Loyalty team as required
Must-have
Exceptional financial modelling and business partnering capabilities
Extensive knowledge and understanding of Credit Cards and card networks
Working in a matrix model, execute with a high degree of collaboration with partners and effectively influence stakeholders resulting in a better outcome via strong interpersonal skills and trust
Ability to manage competing priorities within tight timelines
Understanding of finance theory / application; understanding of financial / statistical concepts and approaches
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills; effective communicator and ability to influence and defend recommendations
Previous track record working in a financial institution
Nice-to-have
Experience with Credit Cards, Loyalty and Rewards programs, Payments and Networks
Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, Thinkcell, EPM, PeopleSoft
