Senior QA Engineer for Industry Leading Company

Senior/Intermediate QA Engineer Our client is a global leading provider of simple, secure and affordable network appliances comprised of an enterprise-class IP Address Management (IPAM) platform. Our client is a leader within the IP Address Management (IPAM) industry, working with small‑medium enterprises, government, military, financial services, insurance, educational, retail and manufacturing organizations worldwide to solve their IP address management needs. Growing rapidly, this innovative company is looking to hire a Senior/Intermediate QA Engineer.

Responsibilities The ideal candidate will be responsible for the testing of all company products and will work closely with the development and business teams to ensure the quality of the application being delivered by the developers. They will have solid experience in automation, a strong interest in Network Design and Protocols, and will be comfortable setting up and running automated tests using a variety of tools. The role includes providing mentorship to junior and intermediate level analysts. Exposure to the latest technology from Microsoft, Sun, HP and the Open Source Communities is also provided. Automation tools used include QTP, JUnit, and other automation tools.

Required Qualifications and Skills

3-5 years of Quality Assurance experience

University degree or college diploma in a technology related field

Test procedures knowledge and automating scripting knowledge (preferably QTP, WinRunner, LoadRunner or JUnit)

Black Box testing experience

Experience with Java, C# or C++ programming

Experience with all phases and stages of testing (Functional, System, Integration, Data Validation, User Acceptance, Performance, Stress, Load)

Intermediate level understanding of the Linux O/S, SMTP, DNS, DHCP, XML, XSLT & Unix shell scripts

Desired Qualifications and Skills

Networking designation (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE)

Familiarity with JBoss, Tomcat, Tapestry, Ant and Jira

White Box testing experience

Relational Database Experience (PostgreSQL, MSSQL, or Oracle)

Experience with source management tools such as Perforce, CVS or Visual Source Safe

Experience with Selenium and Visual Studio

Salary The salary range is $65,000-$80,000. In addition to the salary, you will be eligible to receive a bonus of up to 5% of your salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
