Responsibilities
Identify and solicit potential clients
Assess clientโs needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
Prepare and administer sales contracts
Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs
Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
Supervise staff
Maintain internal record-keeping system
Maintain progress and other reports
Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service
Develop manufacturing and processing procedures
Assess business opportunities and develop strategies
Solicit sales and sell goods or services
Offer mentoring
Oversee the preparation of sales or contracts
