About the Position: The Dark Horse Regional Manager is the core of our café experience, responsible for building and leading a successful café rooted in the Dark Horse brand and guest experience. Dark Horse Management to deliver an exceptional employee and guest experience, while operating a profitable and growing business with the highest quality standards.

Candidates must possess a strong business sense, natural hospitality, and outstanding team leadership skills. This role is ideal for a hands-on senior leader in specialty coffee who thrives on multi-store oversight, community engagement, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for maintaining brand standards, supporting and developing store managers, and driving performance across multiple locations within the region.

This position requires regular travel and a high level of autonomy, organization, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Support on-site managers in overseeing the operation of our Western Ontario cafes.

Travel regularly within the region to support additional store locations (travel expenses will be arranged)

Ensure service, product quality, cleanliness, and visual merchandising meet company standards.

Analyze sales and wastage data; identify trends and implement action plans for improvement.

Interpret business performance metrics and translate insight to clear operational strategies.

Support, coach, and develop store managers and leadership teams.

Build strong relationships within multiple local communities to increase brand awareness and traffic.

Interpret business performance metrics and translate insights into clear operational strategies.

Maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends, to support peak business needs.

Has exceptional communication skills when interacting with Dark Horse employees and management.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Manager.

Minimum 1+ year in senior, multi-store, or regional management.

Minimum 1+ year of specialty coffee experience (mandatory).

Strong understanding of coffee operations and service standards.

Proven ability to analyze performance data and implement improvements.

Demonstrated leadership and team development skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and operational awareness.

Strong community engagement and relationship-building abilities.

Valid G driver’s license required.

Willingness and ability to commute regularly within the region.

What We Offer

Competitive salary: $52,000 – $60,000, plus gratuities.

Travel expenses negotiable.
