As Head of Investor Relations, you will serve as the chief architect of Amarc’s capital markets narrative and a primary liaison to the investment community. Reporting directly to President & CEO Dr. Diane Nicolson and working alongside Hall of Fame leadership, you will develop and execute an IR strategy that translates technical exploration success into compelling investment value, builds institutional confidence, and positions Amarc for potential transaction opportunities. Your work will directly influence market valuation, analyst coverage, and shareholder value creation. This is an in-office, or hybrid, opportunity based in Vancouver, BC. The Organization Amarc Resources Ltd. (TSXV: AHR, OTCQB: AXREF) is a Vancouver-based mineral exploration company focused on developing high-value copper-gold assets in British Columbia. Backed by Hunter Dickinson Inc. (HDI), Amarc benefits from a 35-year legacy of porphyry discovery and development success that includes Mount Milligan, Kemess North and South, Gibraltar, Sisson, Pebble, Florence, Xietongmen, and Newtongmen. With three district-scale assets hosting known deposits and ten exploration targets, Amarc is HDI’s value vehicle for advancing the next generation of copper-gold mines in one of the world’s premier mining jurisdictions. The January 2025 AuRORA discovery at JOY represents a game-changing moment for Amarc. With $200 million in strategic partner funding, three district-scale assets, and over $23 million deployed in 2024 drilling programs, Amarc is advancing from exploration to value realization. This role offers a rare opportunity to shape the investment narrative for a well-funded junior with major discovery momentum, institutional backing, and multiple paths to liquidity. Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy to effectively communicate Amarc’s vision, strategy, and financial performance to investors, analysts, and key stakeholders. Lead investor presentations, news releases, and financial disclosures. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain the highest standards of transparency and accuracy. Build and maintain strong relationships with retail and institutional investors and analysts, acting as a primary point of contact for investment community inquiries and foster a comprehensive understanding of their perspectives. Monitor and analyze market trends, investor sentiment, and competitive positioning. Provide the executive team with relevant insights and strategic recommendations based on market intelligence and investor feedback. Organize and lead investor meetings, roadshows, investor conferences, and other events to engage with investors and communicate Amarc’s strategy and financial performance effectively. Collaborate with internal teams, including the President & CEO and Executive Chair, to ensure alignment in communication and strategy execution. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or CFA designation is highly preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in investor relations, corporate finance, investment banking, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. In-depth knowledge of the junior mining industry, including a strong grasp of financial metrics, market dynamics, and regulatory environment. Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills. Ability to craft compelling narratives and deliver complex information clearly and persuasively. Proven ability to develop and implement strategic investor relations plans that align with corporate goals and drive shareholder value. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with investors, analysts, and internal stakeholders. Strong networking and relationship management skills. Highest ethical standards, with a commitment to transparency, accountability, and corporate governance. Ability to travel as needed for roadshows, conferences, and site visits across North America and abroad. The total compensation package will be negotiated with the successful individual, including a base salary of $110-150k+.
