Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring all components are accounted for. Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine project requirements and scope. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure alignment on project goals. Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market conditions, including material costs and labour rates. Assist in the preparation of tender submissions and proposals. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize project budgets and timelines. Track and document project costs to ensure alignment with initial estimates. A successful Construction Estimator should have: Strong expertise in ICI GC construction estimating. Familiarity with modular or multi-storey residential construction is an asset. Proficiency in construction estimation software and tools. Ability to analyze project specifications and provide accurate cost assessments. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
