SAP S/4 HANA MM/WM/eWM Functional Lead Consultant
NTT DATA seeks a SAP S/4 HANA MM/WM/eWM Functional Lead consultant to join our team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Responsibilities
Lead end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA implementation for warehouse management.
Collaborate with SAP team members to ensure seamless integration across modules.
Monitor and optimize inventory management processes using SAP MM and WM functionalities.
Adhere to GxP and IT QMS standards, delivering high‑quality process design, functional requirements, configuration, testing, and documentation.
Work closely with business functions across global sites to maintain detailed knowledge of processes, priorities, and system needs.
Document configuration changes and provide training to end‑users.
Analyze complex warehouse processes, identify improvement areas, and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Configure and customize SAP EWM functionalities (warehouse movements, putaway, picking strategies, storage unit management, handling unit management).
Ensure seamless integration of SAP WM with other modules (MM, SD, PP, QM, IM).
Develop and execute test plans (unit, integration, regression, UAT) to validate configurations and ensure data accuracy.
Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot, and resolve functional issues related to SAP WM following ITSM best practices.
Act as subject matter expert and trusted advisor to business users, providing training and guidance on WM functionalities and best practices.
Collaborate with technical teams (e.g., ABAP developers) to address development needs and ensure successful integration with external systems (TMS, RF scanning solutions, barcode systems, label printing solutions).
Stay updated with the latest SAP WM advancements and recommend relevant solutions.
Qualifications
Minimum 15+ years in SAP/IT.
Minimum 10+ years as a senior SAP WM/EWM functional consultant.
7+ years as a WM/EWM functional lead.
5+ years of S/4 HANA experience.
Proficiency in using and customizing SAP WM/EWM/MM features and functionalities.
Hands‑on experience with advanced and basic EWM capabilities (inbound processing, putaway with quality integration, internal processing, physical inventory, outbound processing, integration with 3PLs or warehouse control systems).
Strong understanding of BAU integration with Quality Management, Manufacturing, TMS, and Material Flow Systems.
Experience with Fiori and mobile solutions within LE/WM and EWM areas.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
S/4 HANA certification preferred; SAP certification in eWM preferred.
Knowledge of project management methodologies and consulting experience.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
