Job Description: Reporting to the VP, Analytics, Insights and AI, Canadian Personal Banking, this position will take ownership of the AI and advanced analytics roadmap and capabilities for NACO. This involves leading the development and deployment of analytics capability resources for all our service lines under NACO. This role has an influence on Canadian Personal Banking AI2 strategy, CPB business strategy, AI2 strategy as well as Data as a Service (DaaS) for CPB.

Accountabilities:

Provide vision, leadership and strategic direction for the AI and Analytics Centre of Excellence for NACO

Attract, develop, motivate and retain high quality talent to deliver business objectives. Create and sustain a high performing inclusive culture

Enhance AI and advanced analytics capabilities through specialized functions and through the delivery of the NACO working groups

Manage relationships NACO partners, AI2 and other key internal and external partners (Product, Control Partners, etc.)

Continuously evaluate team capabilities, structure, and interaction model to identify efficiencies in delivering value through deployments into NACO.

Influence requirements and strategic direction for pan‑Enterprise analytical projects and capabilities

Operate within TD's risk appetite & regulatory expectations

Attest to the adherence of analytics practices to defined governance principles

Job Requirements:

Deep technical expertise in analytics to provide oversight and strategic direction for capability development and best practices

People leadership to attract and retain top talent

Ability to influence stakeholders for management strategies and objectives

Strategic mindset with ability to thoughtfully manage significant organisational change while driving transformation for Analytics

Strong organisational awareness, collaboration, influence, and communication skills for working with partners and business segments

Strategic mindset to prioritize key areas of growth and opportunities to refine interaction models

Expert problem solver adept at challenging approaches and identifying new opportunities

Shareholder Accountabilities:

Partner with NACO partners to ensure effective and efficient deployment of analytics capabilities.

Partner with AI2 to provide requirements/feedback for enterprise data & analytics enablement

Identify and articulate CPB NACO data needs (e.g. Internal data availability, external data priorities)

Partner with AI2 and Layer 6 to advance analytics capabilities across the organization

New data and tool prioritisation and testing for NACO Transformation

Partner with Business Intelligence Center of Excellence to create common Communities of Interest and Talent initiatives

Champion talent acquisition and analyst development across the organization (building recruitment pipelines and training needs)

Employee/Team Accountabilities:

Experienced in leading and building effective teams, from the ground up, to deliver superior results in both the short and long term

Ability to motivate, develop, inspire and empower others to proactively adapt to changing environments
