Job Description
We are seeking a
Power Traction & Power Supply Coordinator
to join our team in a
hybrid role based in Toronto, Ontario . The ideal candidate will have strong experience in engineering, testing, and commissioning of electrical and traction systems within transportation or railway environments. You will be responsible for ensuring design integrity, test execution, and compliance with technical and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee
design coordination and commissioning
for traction power systems within metro projects (OCS, ICDD, power supply, power distribution).
Manage and monitor
power distribution networks
(medium to low voltage) and liaise with suppliers.
Work closely with
civil, mechanical, and mapping teams
to ensure smooth project integration.
Coordinate activities among various stakeholders (civil, electrical, radar, traction).
Provide functional and technical support on tools and equipment ( ETAP, ABB ).
Manage the
equipment list
and supervise commissioning and testing activities.
Requirements
5+ years of experience.
Solid expertise in
traction power supply
and
power distribution
(ACDD, ICC, IDD).
Proficiency with
ETAP
and other electrical simulation/design tools.
Strong coordination and operational project management experience.
Ability to
engage suppliers and stakeholders
effectively.
Familiarity with metro/railway standards and commissioning practice
Expected Compensation Range:
50K-110K. The final compensation offered will be
determined based on the candidateโs level of experience, skills, and qualifications , in compliance with applicable pay transparency requirements.
Canadian Experience Requirement:
No Canadian work experience is required for this position. Candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of previous Canadian experience.
