Responsibilities
As the Senior Systems Developer you will be a driving member of an integral team responsible for developing system‑based solutions by formulating programs, developing and maintaining code, and documenting processes for consistency and continuous improvement. You will contribute to a range of highly complex and diverse team initiatives and provide training and support to your teammates.
Technologies & Experience
Experience working with GitHub, open‑source automation using APIs.
Proficiency in project tracking tools (JIRA, Confluence) and APIs.
Experience automating deployment, management of Salesforce sandbox and production test regions.
Support on developing automations within Dev‑Ops initiatives to accelerate deployments and reduce lead time.
Experience with Salesforce metadata and metadata deployments.
Experience with cloud deployments, especially AWS.
Experience supporting fully automated CI/CD solutions.
Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow for change, release, incident and problem management.
Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Excellent understanding of Python.
Impact You’ll Create
Lead the process of developing a cohesive plan to determine technologies and options for a working solution.
Develop new code and leverage existing code to implement system features of medium to large complexity.
Create an implementation and troubleshooting plan for a single system.
Own and lead the overall release deployment of application changes across UAT, PreProd and Production environments.
Coordinate release deployments and scheduling with Engineering, QA, BSAs and POs.
Coordinate environment set‑up, rollback procedures and deployment validation activities.
Ensure that deployment activities follow release‑management processes.
Conduct release manifest tech reviews.
Monitor deployments and respond to issues or failures during the release window.
Participate in go‑checkpoint meetings and post‑release retrospectives.
Maintain version control and release documentation.
Able to handle deployment issues raised by engineers, QA and squads.

Qualifications
Five years of experience in Information Technology or a related field.
Post‑secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
Solid understanding of and practical experience in the software delivery cycle.
Proficiency in English, including drafting complex documents and communicating with non‑French‑speaking clients.
Additional Information
Occasional travel.
Rotational on‑call schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
