Job Description
This role is designed for operators who deliver multi-million-dollar outcomes—not those who simply advise or report on them. You will assume ownership of the most critical operational challenges spanning a global software portfolio, transforming uncertainty into quantifiable financial results. Your responsibilities include designing the programs, leading their execution, and ensuring your contributions are reflected in margin improvement, retention gains, and integration performance.
Trilogy manages a substantial and varied portfolio of enterprise software companies, each presenting intricate operational dynamics and significant financial opportunity awaiting realization. You will spearhead the transformations that unlock this potential. Your initiatives may include scaling a $2M per quarter renewal uplift effort, reducing cloud expenditure while preserving performance, or integrating a newly acquired company into the Trilogy operating model within 30 days. Your work will be directly visible to senior leadership and will materially influence profitability across multiple business units.
This position is suited to candidates who excel in high-visibility, high-autonomy settings. You will leverage advanced AI tooling such as Claude Code to expedite analysis, structure strategic insights, and achieve impact at a pace that exceeds traditional operating teams. Hierarchy and bureaucracy will not constrain you; you will have both the latitude and the mandate to establish clarity, foster alignment, and execute with conviction. If you are driven by the challenge of converting complex operational problems into reliable, repeatable successes, this role will suit you well.
Apply if you are prepared to lead transformative initiatives that redefine performance across an entire software portfolio.
What You Will Be Doing
Directing cross-functional customer renewal initiatives that prevent churn of ≥$2M ARR per quarter by diagnosing underlying causes and coordinating product, support, and finance teams around targeted solutions.
Managing cloud optimization programs that achieve AWS cost reductions of $500K or more quarterly while preserving system performance and uptime.
Overseeing acquisition due diligence and integration protocols that identify critical risks and synergy opportunities—and generate measurable margin gains within the first quarter post‑acquisition.
Employing Claude Code or equivalent AI tools (Codex, Gemini CLI) to construct reusable analytical frameworks, automate operational processes, and enhance execution speed and precision.
Coordinating cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure initiatives are delivered on schedule, meet targets, and produce verified financial results.
Producing weekly executive‑level updates that clearly communicate progress, obstacles, and confirmed financial impact.
What You Won’t Be Doing
Reporting on outcomes outside your control — you are responsible for driving and achieving results, not merely tracking them.
Working in isolation — your initiatives span products, functions, and business units to generate enterprise‑wide value.
Expending effort on manual analysis or low‑impact tasks — you will default to AI‑powered execution.
Waiting for consensus, guidance, or approval — this role demands operators who forge alignment and act swiftly.
Depending exclusively on manual methods — you are expected to utilize AI tooling to scale and accelerate your output.
Being consumed by planning cycles, governance processes, or presentation decks — weekly updates are streamlined, disciplined, and metric‑driven.
SVP Operations And Transformation Key Responsibilities
Architect and execute portfolio‑wide transformation programs that yield measurable improvements in retention, cloud efficiency, and acquisition integration — with executive oversight and direct impact.
Basic Requirements
5+ years leading cross‑functional operational or transformation initiatives with ≥$3M annual financial impact.
Demonstrated capability to analyze large, complex datasets and convert insights into validated outcomes of ≥$500K.
Experience optimizing cloud infrastructure costs (AWS or equivalent) with documented examples of savings and performance maintenance.
Strong financial acumen: P&L analysis, budgeting, ROI modeling, and prioritization grounded in financial reasoning.
Proficiency with AI tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Gemini CLI to automate analysis and enhance execution.
Capability to work remotely with at least 6 hours of overlap with the CST time zone.
