Job Description

Critical Mass is hiring a Media Director, Investment to join our growing team. As the Media Director, you drive the strategic use of media to impact our clientโ€™s business performance. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals, oversee omnichannel media strategies, and leverage your expertise in B2B investment planning and buying to deliver exceptional results across paid search, social, programmatic, display, content syndication, video/YouTube, and more.

You Will:

Act as a media expert for internal teamโ€™s consultation

Design and share search POVs and case studies across the business and develop cross-discipline communication planning and drive synergy with Paid Social, Programmatic, Display, Content Syndication, etc.

Engage with planning team and clients to build a strong understanding of their needs and how they can best utilize search media for their competitive advantage

Establish and maintain strong partnerships with relevant media partners in the media ecosystem (i.e. Google, Reddit, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)

Oversee and provide guidance on long term strategic plans respective of the clientโ€™s business goals including but not limited to annual and quarterly planning, QBRs and EOC reports

Oversee and contribute to in person meetings on a monthly/quarterly basis to build and maintain a deep-rooted partnership driving excitement for paid search opportunities

Uncover/understand objectives, challenges and needs by performing regular client needs assessments, check-ins, and interfacing regularly with senior level

Stay abreast of and disseminate relevant industry trends to keep the brand atop of the latest paid search opportunities

Manage and lead and grow a team search professional varying in roles and responsibilities

Allocate resources to allow for both meeting the client's current needs but also investing and focusing efforts for future growth

Facilitate communication and process between team and internal as well as external stakeholders to collectively attain client objectives

Act as the main point of escalation for the internal and external teams to quickly troubleshoot questions, concerns, or challenges

Participate in weekly team meetings to provide insight into leadership viewpoints, client priorities and industry trend updates

Analytically extract insight/actions from data and relate the โ€œstoryโ€ back to planning team/clientโ€™s business goals

Lead search innovation and vision- regarding new products and enhancements

Identify and test new channels and products, highlighting results and sharing across organization and with external clients

Negotiate partnership opportunities on behalf of the client to ensure the most value for the respective investment

Partner with publishers to influence roadmap and future product rollouts on respective of client business goals

You Have:

Proven experience in omnichannel media execution and buying, preferably in B2B or tech sectors

Expertise in video, display, YouTube, Amazon, OOH, and other relevant channels

Established relationships with media partners in the media ecosystem (i.e. Reddit, Facebook, Amazon, LinkedIn, etc.)

Demonstrated team management and leadership experience, including mentoring and performance oversight

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and optimize for ROI

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience managing media budgets and delivering campaigns on time and on budget
