Salary:
Classification 11 $28.62 – 29.50 per hour in accordance with the BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Temporary employees receive an additional $0.58/hour in lieu of benefits and have 6% vacation pay paid out with each pay.
Description
This position coordinates a variety of Foundation projects in alignment with established project plans, deliverables, timelines and budgets, including tracking and monitoring financial performance. Responsibilities include oversight of the 50/50 Raffle Project at the Dawson Creek Exhibition & Stampede, which requires availability between August 4-9, 2026, between 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
This role serves as the primary contact for all Foundation projects, responding to inquiries from students, staff, faculty, and community partners. The successful candidate coordinates, attends, and leads both virtual and in-person project meetings and events.
The NLC Foundation Projects and Partnerships Facilitator prepares all project-related documentation, including proposals, project updates, financial reports, and project narrative reports, while fostering and maintaining strong community connections.
The anticipated weekly schedule is Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, and Friday, 8:00 am – 10:00 am.
Qualifications
Diploma in a related discipline with a minimum of two years' experience in social media marketing or the non-profit sector.
Demonstratable experience coordinating events, committees, and focus groups.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong organizational abilities, including presenting to groups.
Valid driver's license.
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
