About The Role We are looking for a Senior Communications Advisor to join our growing team! We seek an exemplary writer and storyteller to bring creativity and precision to our communications. In this role, you will create engaging messaging for our internal teams and broker audience to help us strengthen our B2B brand. We value stories as a way to enrich the relationships we have with brokers, their customers, and our employees. This means we value you for your ability to weave a captivating story and tactically lay out the details, mindful of each audience for whom you are creating an experience.

Develop strategies and execute plans to support the communication efforts of various internal services within our distribution network. Act as a reference for team members on communication issues and provide strategic consulting and technical services to various segments and departments of the company. Ensure they gain the maximum public exposure for all initiatives targeting external audiences.

What You Will Accomplish With Us

Support and develop integrated, clear, and concise communication documents and programs for employees, customers, and brokers.

Ensure that all communications support the organization's brand image and that this image promotes the achievement of the organization's objectives.

Liaise with directors, managers, and other employees to develop and execute communication strategies and deliverables that are creative, effective, and reflect high-quality work.

Oversee requests from various stakeholders and thoughtfully create and review a wide variety of communication documents (e.g., key messages, communication plans, deliverables, tactics, etc.)

What You Will Bring

Bachelor's degree in communications/mass media/writing, or any other combination of education and equivalent experience

At least 10 years of experience

Excellent writing skills

Proficiency with MS Office suite tools

Knowledge of current trends in web communication, digital tools, and the use of multimedia, an asset

Recognized as a dynamic and proactive change agent

Knowledge of the insurance industry, an asset

Bilingual (French and English) – Necessary to interact on a regular basis with an English-speaking clientele and colleagues across the country

No work experience in Canada required, but must have authorization to work in Canada
