What you will be doing:
Project Delivery & Governance
Lead or support end-to-end delivery of assigned initiatives, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies.
Establish and apply structured project governance, planning, reporting, and change control practices.
Drive issue resolution, escalation, and decision support to maintain delivery momentum.
Ensure initiatives deliver measurable outcomes aligned to approved objectives.
Change Management & Adoption
Assess organizational, workflow, and capability impacts associated with project delivery.
Develop and execute change management approaches to support adoption and sustainment.
Support stakeholder readiness through structured communications, training, and engagement.
Ensure solutions transition effectively into operational use.
Process Analysis & Redesign
Lead current-state and future-state process analysis across clinical, operational, and enabling functions.
Facilitate process redesign to improve efficiency, clarity, and user experience.
Validate redesigned processes with stakeholders and support implementation.
Support measurement of outcomes and post-implementation optimization.
Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory
Act as a trusted advisor to sponsors, senior leaders, and operational teams.
Facilitate stakeholder engagement, alignment, and formal approvals.
Prepare and deliver executive-ready briefings, reports, and recommendations.
Documentation & Reporting
Produce high-quality project and advisory deliverables including estimates, business cases, charters, scope documents, change requests, reports, and presentations.
Provide regular, concise status reporting to sponsors and steering committees while managing project documentation to ensure a successful initiative.
Consultant needs to operate independently, taking initiative to drive deliverables while integrating with operational teams across the SHA and eHealth.
Deliverables (as applicable per project)
Project plans, schedules, and governance artifacts
Business cases and option analyses
Process maps (current and future state)
Change management and adoption materials
Executive briefings and status reports
What you must have:
Demonstrated experience delivering consulting services in healthcare or public‑sector environments.
Strong expertise in project delivery, change management, and process improvement.
Experience working with senior executives and multi-disciplinary stakeholder groups.
Ability to lead workstreams and influence outcomes without direct authority.
What you must have:
In order to execute the project successfully the team will need to be able to meet the criteria listed above.
Expertise of this nature would typically be gained from leadership roles, project management and health informatics within the healthcare system along with applied consulting best practices.
Individuals and/or a team of individuals will be required to have expert knowledge and demonstrated work in areas such as Change Management, Clinical Workflow, Clinical Informatics, Clinical Analyst, Clinical Application Education, Program Management, Data Architecture, Data Visualization, Analytics.
