Overview
We are looking for a Product Quality Coordinator specializing in connected technologies to join the PPQ team. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for improving the quality, reliability, and performance of the connected technologies integrated into our vehicles. You will act as the central point of contact between connected systems engineering, the dealer network, and internal operations to ensure rapid, technical, and effective resolution of field issues. Your in-depth understanding of electronic systems, software, and connected platforms will enable you to collaborate directly with specialized engineers and accurately translate customer irritants into concrete technical hypotheses. You will play a key role in customer satisfaction and the continuous improvement of BRP products.
Responsibilities
Analysis & diagnosis of problems related to connected technologies
Analyze data from the field, the dealer network, telemetry, and various internal sources to identify issues related to connected systems (connectivity, mobile applications, interfaces, ECUs, firmware)
Understand, structure, and synthesize symptoms in order to develop a technical hypothesis consistent with vehicle architecture
Assess the impact, severity, and criticality of detected issues to establish intervention priorities
Close collaboration with Connected Systems Engineering: work daily with engineers responsible for connected platforms, understanding their technical vocabulary (communication protocols, systems, network interactions, software architecture)
Ensure clear, accurate, and actionable information transfer between field observations and R&D teams
Contribute to the prioritization of software and/or hardware fixes based on customer and network impact
PPQ coordination & problem solving: mobilize key stakeholders (Engineering, Supplier Quality Assurance, Production, Operations) to implement rapid and effective action plans
Monitor the implementation of corrective measures and ensure smooth communication between internal teams and the network
Draft the necessary communications to dealers regarding available solutions, procedures, or updates
Continuous improvement & targeted validation: participate in the validation of fixes or new connected features, in collaboration with the testing teams
Recommend additional tests to prevent regressions or increase system robustness
Contribute to improving PPQ processes related to connected technologies
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechatronics, electrical, software, computer science, or related field), or equivalent highly technical experience with embedded systems
Experience
Experience in dealership, customer service, or warranty: an asset
Experience in technical data analysis or electronic diagnostics desired
Essential Technical Knowledge
In-depth understanding of connected systems: Firmware, diagnostics, embedded systems
Communications (CAN, LIN, Bluetooth, LTE, Wi‑Fi, GPS)
Mobile applications, cloud platforms, telemetry
Ability to simplify complex issues and transform them into key elements
Good knowledge of recreational vehicle systems: a major asset
Skills in statistical analysis and problem‑solving methodologies (Six Sigma or equivalent)
Behavioral Skills
Leadership, collaboration, and team spirit
Strong ability to coordinate between multiple departments
Ability to analyze, synthesize, and communicate clearly
Good planning skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Additional Requirements
Bilingualism in French/English, both spoken and written
Willingness to travel occasionally
