Job Description

Purpose The Senior Digital Product Manager, Digital Experience reports to the Director, Digital Product Management.

Our company is a leader in providing compelling and unique rail journeys, is looking to innovate within the rail tourism industry by delivering cutting-edge solutions that transform our guest and partner experience. We’re seeking a highly innovative and collaborative Senior IT Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about solving meaningful customer problems and driving measurable business impact.

The Senior IT Product Manager, Digital Experience owns the end-to-end digital experiences, translating customer needs and business goals through continuous customer discovery, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making, balancing user needs, technical foundations, and business outcomes.

Key Areas of Accountability

Strategic Leadership: Accountable for creating the product vision and strategy aligned with company goals and market opportunities. Collaborate with senior leaders to set quarterly objectives and problems to solve, guiding the product team to achieve them

Guest Focus: Engage regularly with guests, championing their voice and ensuring their needs and feedback are central to product development decisions

Digital Platform Performance: Accountable for conversion rate, AOV, purchase completion.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborates cross-functionally to translate business requirements into prioritized, value-driven roadmap deliverables. Work with technical architect and engineering team to ensure technical feasibility and optimal solution design

Market & Data Analysis: Conduct thorough internal and external research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, using data to inform and drive product strategy

Product Strategy: Define and own the multi-year strategy for digital platforms aligned to company growth goals. Lead the product lifecycle from ideation to value realization by ensuring the delivery of timely insights, prototypes, tests, and solutions.

Risk and Compliance: Ensure products comply with relevant standards, security protocols and regulatory requirements

Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor objectives and key results (OKRs) to measure product success and inform future strategies, consistently communicating results back to senior leaders and cross-functional partners

Innovation: Drive a culture of innovation, encouraging creative solutions and continuous improvement across product teams

Qualifications Education / Certification / Licenses

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Experience

8 years in IT product management with significant ownership of ecommerce products. (e.g. Web, mobile, checkout, payments, merchandising, personalization, platforms)

3+ years of experience in CRO delivering measurable commercial outcomes

2+ years experience optimizing Booking and Check Out flows.

Experience working in high-stakes customer journeys where performance, reliability and usability directly impact revenue.

Demonstrated success partnering closely with Engineering, UX, Marketing, and Analytics to deliver end to end commerce experiences.

Proficient in the product operating model, agile methodologies, and product development lifecycle

Fluency in agile delivery methods and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, etc.), and frameworks for technical products (initiatives, features, epics, user stories).

Skills

Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills

Ability to clearly define problems, assumptions, and hypotheses, and validate solutions through experiments, A/B testing, and data analysis

Experience translating business goals into outcome-based roadmaps and prioritization frameworks

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive results

Capacity to drive insights from quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Comfort working in ambiguity and making informed trade-offs using evidence and judgment

Deep understanding of core Ecommerce concepts and systems, including:

Conversion funnels, checkout flows, and payment methods

Pricing, promotions, merchandising, and inventory considerations

CMS, PIM, OMS, and third-party integrations

Strong technical fluency, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers on:

APIs, integrations, and platform scalability

Performance, reliability, and SEO fundamentals

Experience working with analytics and experimentation tools (e.g., GA, Adobe, Amplitude, Optimizely, SQL, or similar)

Ability to lead without authority and influence senior stakeholders through clear communication and data-driven storytelling

Strong facilitation skills, bringing alignment across diverse perspectives and priorities

Track record of mentoring junior IT product managers or raising product maturity within a team

Work Environment

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Corporate Office – Vancouver based; hybrid role with a minimum 3 days / week in the office

Compensation

The base salary offered for this role is $120,000 to $140,000 per annum and can vary based on job-related expertise, qualifications, experience and internal equity.
