Job Description
We are looking for an Engine Calibration Technician who will report to the calibration department manager. You will be responsible for developing the calibration of the powertrain for recreational products. In this role, you will make a significant contribution to product development in order to meet customer expectations. You will be at the forefront of a wide range of technical innovations related to engine control.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Participate in the development of four-stroke powertrain calibration projects and support our product development activities.
Optimize engine control unit (ECU) calibration strategies to meet product requirements.
Participate in and lead engine optimization tests on a dynamometer and in the vehicle.
Become familiar with the various processes and tools used in your work environment.
Collaborate on the development of engine control unit (ECU) software and powertrain architecture.
Be responsible for prototype instrumentation and the quality of associated measurement data.
YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
D.E.C. in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or robotics engineering.
Knowledge of how engines and their transmissions work.
Knowledge of general concepts in physics, thermodynamics, mechanics, and electricity.
Experience in product instrumentation, test execution, and data analysis.
Ideally, relevant professional experience in engine or mechatronics system development.
