Release Planning Coordination

Own the end-to-end release lifecycle planning, scheduling, tracking, and execution.

Coordinate with development, QA, UAT, DevOps, and operations teams to align release scope and timelines.

Facilitate release readiness meetings and ensure all pre-deployment checkpoints are completed.

Manage release calendars, change windows, and environment schedules.

Deployment Management

Oversee deployment activities across lower and production environments.

Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline readiness, artifact management, and deployment automation.

Track deployment issues, rollbacks, and post-release validations.

Ensure smooth handoffs to production support and operations teams.

Risk | Compliance Change Control

Assess release risks, dependencies, and impacts across applications.

Ensure releases comply with change management processes, controls, and regulatory requirements.

Maintain documentation, approvals, and audit trails for each release.

Drive root‑cause analysis for deployment failures or recurring issues.

Communication / Stakeholder Management

Serve as the central point of contact for release‑related communication.

Provide release status updates to leadership, product owners, and stakeholders.

Work closely with cross‑functional teams to resolve conflicts, dependencies, and blockers.

Build strong relationships with engineering, PMO, and operations teams.

Required Qualifications

7 years of IT experience, with 3‑5 years as a Release Manager or in a similar coordination role.

Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and DevOps practices.

Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar).

Familiarity with application deployments, configuration management, and environment management.

Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.

Experience managing releases in onshore‑offshore delivery models.
