Senior Director Supply Chain

for a successful and growing food manufacturer in the east end of

Toronto.

The company has been in business for over 80 years, with new ownership in 2015, and after a period of stabilization they now have clear vision and values, and are in rapid growth mode. We need an experienced leader who will build synergies across the organization to improve planning processes and systems. We require experience in S&OP and proven ability to manage change within a food manufacturing environment. ERP and WMS implementation is a key area of responsibility. We are looking for an experienced coach and mentor who can develop leadership skills amongst your direct reports. This role oversees a broad range of supply chain planning responsibilities including inventory optimization, demand planning, purchasing, warehousing, and master scheduling. If you are a senior leader in supply chain with experience implementing planning best practices in food manufacturing, we want to hear from you. I look forward to speaking with all qualified applicants. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in inventory planning and forecasting in a food manufacturing environment. Background in Demand Planning, with specific expertise in Sales and Operations Planning. Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to interface with all levels and positions within the organization and build leaders. Strong analytical skills, hands-on ability to analyze data, form conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations in a timely manner. Must have excellent communication skills, able to manage vendor relationships and customer requirements. SALARY RANGE: $160,000 – $200,000 plus bonuses and benefits. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
