Engineer/ Senior Procurement Engineer (Electrical & Electronic)

What Where Oversee & support in the management of EMS Commercial and Operations to ensure delivery, cost, and quality goals are met.

Aggressively drive cost reduction through best-in-class sourcing and lean manufacturing practices.

Expedite component suppliers and accelerate material shortages through formal channels to support on-time delivery (OTD).

Conduct periodic review of existing vendors, provide, negotiate and execute recommendations to ensure vendor performance on pricing, quality and delivery.

Independently resolve and de-escalate issues with available resources and tools, while driving necessary improvements.

Confidently manage E&O through waterfall analysis and drive mitigation & reduction.

Strong ability to work across-functional teams globally to achieve goals.

Education & Experience: Min. 4-5 years of relevant experience in EMS/CM management, Manufacturing/Engineering Operations, or Planning/Purchasing/Sourcing management.

Good exposure in EMS/CM management, manufacturing and distribution processes, demand/supply planning, material management, warehouse operations, and logistics functions.

Comprehensive knowledge in the Electronics Electrical (EE) category.

Excellent communication skills, capable of expressing complex and sensitive concepts clearly and correctly.

Ability to produce alternative approaches or solutions to opportunities or problems, challenging the status quo.

Proficiency in conducting basic research, organizing information, and performing cost/benefit analysis.

Willingness to try new ideas and consider new approaches, with good tolerance and capability for multi-tasking.

Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams of different cultural backgrounds and organizational levels.

Ability to think outside the box on E&O mitigation plans to minimize exposure.
