Commercial Litigation Associate – WeirFoulds LLP

WeirFoulds LLP is seeking an associate lawyer to join our thriving Litigation Practice Group. The successful candidate will practice both Commercial Litigation as well as Estates and Trusts Litigation.

Qualifications and experience:

4-6 years of practice experience working on complex Commercial Litigation matters and interest in Estates and Trusts litigation.

Strong technical, legal, research, drafting and organization skills.

Demonstrated strengths in entrepreneurialism including client service, client development and client relationships.

Team player, able to work with lawyers at all levels and balance competing demands.

Self‑motivated, innovative, flexible, and able to manage document‑intensive files.

Confidence to manage files and clients independently.

Strong work ethic, commitment to excellence and excellent academic credentials.

The successful candidate will work with a few of our commercial litigators on a variety of challenging, sophisticated and complex business and estate litigation cases, representing a broad range of clients.
