Job Description The Finance Business Partner – Operations plays a key role in driving both operational and financial performance by working closely with site and regional leadership. The position is embedded within the operations, with regular presence on sites to gain a deep understanding of processes, cost drivers, and performance levers. By combining strong financial expertise with hands-on operational exposure, the Finance Business Partner translates financial insights into actionable recommendations, supports informed decision-making, and contributes directly to continuous improvement and value creation across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a financial partner to operational teams and regional leadership

Be present on operational sites to gain a deep understanding of operations, cost drivers, and performance challenges

Analyze financial performance (production costs, margins, inventory, operational efficiency) and challenge operational decisions

Identify variances, trends, and improvement opportunities, and recommend concrete actions

Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis activities directly linked to operations

Contribute to cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives

Present clear, decision-oriented financial analyses to management

Work closely with Finance teams (Controlling, Accounting, FP&A) to ensure data consistency and reliability

Contribute to the development and evolution of operational and financial performance indicators

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance role within an industrial or manufacturing environment

Significant experience in operations finance, industrial controlling, or business partnering

Strong understanding of production costs, inventory management, and multi-site environments

Strong influencing and communication skills with non-finance stakeholders

Hands-on mindset, operational curiosity, and strong critical thinking skills

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

Willingness to travel regularly to operational sites

Natural leadership, autonomy, and results-oriented mindset
