This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on finance leader who owns the full planning and reporting cycle while bringing a strong systems mindset to how financial and operational data is structured, analyzed, and communicated.
Partnering closely with operations, plant leadership, supply chain, and executive stakeholders, you will play a critical role in enhancing financial visibility, improving cost performance, and supporting decisions that drive profitability, cash flow, and scalable growth. This position requires advanced Excel capabilities, strong ERP fluency, and the executive presence to translate complex financial data into actionable insights within a fast-paced, PE-backed manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Own and lead the full FP&A function, including annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, and monthly performance reporting.
Deliver executive-level variance analysis, EBITDA bridges, and operational performance commentary to support senior leadership and private equity stakeholders.
Build and oversee sophisticated financial models to support scenario planning, capital investment decisions, capacity planning, and strategic initiatives.
Partner with operations and plant leadership to analyze key manufacturing cost drivers, including labor, overhead absorption, material usage, inventory, production efficiencies, and standard costing.
Provide financial leadership on cost optimization, margin expansion, and continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing network.
Act as a trusted advisor to accounting, operations, and executive teams to ensure alignment, transparency, and discipline in financial reporting.
Drive enhancements to FP&A processes, reporting frameworks, and data flows across ERP, Excel, and BI tools to improve forecast accuracy and decision speed.
Prepare clear, board-ready financial materials and performance insights for executive reviews and investor reporting.
Lead high-impact ad-hoc analysis supporting pricing strategy, capital expenditures, footprint optimization, and growth initiatives.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field required; CPA, CFA, or MBA strongly preferred.
8–12 years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or operational finance experience, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.
Proven experience owning end-to-end FP&A processes and influencing senior leadership decisions.
Strong understanding of manufacturing finance concepts such as standard costing, inventory accounting, variance analysis, and capital planning.
Advanced Excel expertise required; experience with ERP platforms and financial reporting tools is essential.
Demonstrated ability to improve financial processes, reporting structures, and forecasting methodologies.
Excellent communication skills with the executive presence to influence both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Comfortable operating in a high-performance, private equity–backed environment with shifting priorities.
