Payroll Officer

We are seeking a Payroll Officer (2 days per week) to join our finance team based at head office in Wayville. Annual salary will be commensurate with hours worked.

About the role

End to end processing of weekly payroll

Calculate, monitor and report on Return To Work payments

Maintain employee database

Respond to payroll queries and report and resolve any issues

Support onboarding and offboarding of employees

Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations as required

Support system updates and improvements

Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll requirements

What we are looking for

Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry

Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, award interpretation and best practices

Proficient in the use of payroll software (experience with Tanda advantageous) and Microsoft suite

Excellent attention to detail

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
