This position will focus on the facility setup and process planning for assembly and testing of large Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in manufacturing processes, experience in assembly techniques, and the ability to troubleshoot and improve testing protocols. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient, safe, and quality-driven operation of our RNG production systems.

Duties & Responsibilities Facility setup

Define equipment requirements and select appropriate manufacturing methods.

Calculate space needs for equipment, production, storage, and testing.

Design efficient facility layouts to optimize workflow and ensure safety.

Prepare cost estimates for facility setup, machinery, and tooling.

Develop and optimize assembly processes, workflows, and quality control checkpoints.

Identify necessary production tools, test equipment, and fixtures.

Create assembly procedures, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Develop and execute testing protocols to ensure equipment performance and safety.

Operations maintenance and supervision

Train and support assembly teams on best practices, safety, and quality control.

Ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance in assembly and testing.

Maintain accurate documentation of processes, test results, and quality measures.

Update technical documents and manuals as processes evolve.

Analyze and document test results in compliance with industry standards.

Report on production progress and recommend process improvements.

Troubleshoot issues using root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Collaborate with engineering teams on manufacturability and testability feedback.

Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on assembly and testing of large-scale equipment (experience with renewable energy systems is a plus).

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly techniques, and testing methodologies.

Strong technical capability with Supplier audits, FAT/SAT leadership, GD&T, P&ID interpretation, ISO 9001, root cause analysis.

Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other engineering design tools.

Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Familiarity with safety regulations and quality assurance practices in manufacturing.

We are committed to transparency in our hiring process. We will be offering a base salary of $90,000 - $110,000 based on a candidate's qualifications and experience.
