DS Studio Inc is an established and growing architecture and interior design firm delivering commercial, healthcare, hospitality, and civic realm projects across Ontario and beyond.

We are seeking a

Director of Operations

to partner directly with the Founder and lead the firm’s operational and financial infrastructure through its next phase of growth.

This is a senior leadership position focused on performance, accountability, and scalability.

Role Mandate The Director of Operations will ensure the firm operates as a disciplined, financially healthy, and well-managed professional services business

You will oversee:

Contract administration and risk oversight

Resource planning and staffing capacity

Setting up operational systems, workflow standards, and automated processes

Financial reporting, forecasting, and invoicing alignment

Profit and losses overview and summary

Internal accountability and team performance metrics

This role directly impacts profitability, delivery consistency, and long-term growth.

Ideal Candidate

10+ years in operations or business management within a professional services firm

Strong financial literacy, including time-based billing and margin analysis

Demonstrated experience building operational systems

Confident communicator capable of holding teams accountable

Comfortable partnering with a founder-led organization

Knowledge on AI driven processes and workflow is a plus

This is not a creative role. It is a strategic operations leadership position.
