Responsibilities Tasks Direct and control daily operations Evaluate daily operations Plan and organize daily operations Manage staff and assign duties Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales Develop and implement marketing strategies Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages Conduct performance reviews Use principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, which include marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems Order supplies and maintain inventory Maintain stock rotation Maintain adequate stock levels Ensure health and safety regulations are followed Greet customers MS Office Recommend products or services to customers
