Senior Actuary - Actuarial Enterprise Projects

As a Senior Actuary you’ll play a key role in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success by primarily executing critical enterprise-wide projects. This role will be within Enterprise Actuarial but will have the opportunity to support a variety of actuarial projects that may involve collaborating with teams across the enterprise.Drive consistent enterprise-level implementation of new actuarial reporting requirements and methodologies under external or internal reporting bases. Implement required new regulatory changes involving actuarial responsibilities. A working knowledge of various reporting frameworks including regulatory and management reporting; economic value / economic capital, risk-neutral and real-world liabilities, best estimate, and padded assumption setting, etc. * .* Proven expertise in strategic planning and time management, ensuring timely delivery of projects and meeting deadlines consistently.* Knowledge of model development platforms and data processes.* Familiarity with synthesizing messaging via visual software including PowerPoint, Tableau/PowerBI, etc.Additional qualifications for specific job levels as noted below:* Senior Actuary 6+ years actuarial experience, 4-year degree or equivalent experience, and FSA designation.Experience in understanding and optimizing various work processesAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high degrees of ambiguity arising from a period of significant change.
