Accountabilities

Create comprehensive design documents, data models, and system architecture for Salesforce implementations.

Gather requirements from business leaders and translate them into functional technical specifications.

Guide developers, oversee code quality, and provide best practice recommendations.

Design integrations with third party systems (e.g., ERP, Marketing Cloud).

Define data security, performance standards, and environment management (DevOps/CI/CD).

Build Proofs of Concept (POCs) to validate solutions.

Requirements

Extensive knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning Platform capabilities.

Strong understanding of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), APIs, and Salesforce data modeling.

Knowledge of SaaS/PaaS principles, system integration patterns, and security models.

Usually requires 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development or consulting, with previous architect experience preferred.

Often requires certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Application Architect, or System Architect.

Ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions for executive stakeholders.
