The Opportunity
We are looking for a Director of Production to join our Toronto team and lead a growing group of producers focused on social storytelling for some of the most exciting brands in Canada and beyond.
The Director of Production is responsible for overseeing all production across AntiSocial with a strong focus on social first content. This role leads and supports a team of producers delivering a high volume of alwaysโon programs, social campaigns, creator partnerships, and platformโspecific content. You bring deep experience producing social content and managing the full production lifecycle from scoping through delivery. You understand the nuances of each platform and how to adapt content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, and emerging channels. You are comfortable moving between internal teams and client conversations, ensuring work aligns with timelines, budgets, and creative vision.
This role partners closely with Creative, Content, Media, Client Services, and the Accounts team to ensure delivery is seamless and consistent. You are a mentor, a problem solver, and the senior production voice clients and internal teams trust.
What Youโll Be Doing
Production Leadership
Oversee all production across always on and campaign based social projects
Lead a team of producers across multiple accounts and content streams
Implement and optimize production processes that allow the team to deliver high volume, fast moving social content efficiently and at scale
Evaluate project needs, allocate resources, and support producers in planning shoots, edits, and creator deliverables
Project and Client Oversight
Act as the senior production partner for client services and accounts teams
Review scopes, budgets, and timelines to ensure feasibility and operational excellence
Join key client meetings to represent production and provide solutions oriented recommendations
Ensure production approaches reflect platform best practices and the realities of social
Cross Functional Collaboration
Partner with Creative to bring concepts to life in social friendly formats
Collaborate with Content and Media teams on asset needs, channel planning, posting schedules, and performance insights
Work with influencer and creator partners and support teams managing creator relationships
Ensure consistent communication across teams throughout pre production, production, and post
Team Management
Mentor and grow a team of producers at varying levels
Provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities
Support hiring, onboarding, and capability building across the production team
Foster a collaborative, inclusive, solutions forward team culture
Operational Excellence
Build and maintain scalable production systems, documentation, and tools
Identify opportunities to improve workflows and increase operational efficiency
Oversee vendor relationships, freelance talent, and production partners
Ensure projects stay on track across budget, scope, and quality expectations
What Youโll Bring
8 plus years of production experience with a focus on social first environments
Deep knowledge of producing always on content, campaign assets, creator content, and cross platform social deliverables
Experience leading and developing a team of producers
Ability to collaborate closely with creative directors, strategists, content leads, media planners, and client service teams
Confident in budget management, resourcing, and production planning
A solutions oriented mindset and calm approach to fast paced, high volume workflows
Strong communication skills and the ability to translate creative ideas into actionable production plans
