Role Summary:

The Quality Automation Engineer designs, develops, and executes automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications, with a focus on AI-driven features.

Design and implement automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright; maintain and optimize framework for scalability and performance.

Execute automated and manual tests to validate application functionality and regression coverage for new features and releases.

Validate AI outputs for consistency, usability, and compliance with business rules; understand impact of AI-driven features (recommendations, chatbots, personalization) on testing strategies.

Conduct load and stress testing using JMeter or Locust; ensure application security through automated vulnerability checks.

Work closely with developers, AI engineers, and product teams; participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).

Required Technical Skills:

Proficiency in test automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions.

Knowledge of API testing: Postman, REST Assured.

Basic understanding of AI concepts: LLMs, recommendation systems, model outputs.

Awareness of bias, accuracy, and ethical considerations in AI outputs.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work in cross‑functional teams and adapt to emerging technologies.
