group, you will help shape the future of digital investing by building scalable, high‑impact applications used by thousands of customers.
We are looking for a
strategic, forward‑thinking Senior Manager, Software Engineering
to lead multiple engineering squads. In this role, you will own cross‑team technical direction, guide architectural decisions, and strengthen our engineering culture—while working closely with Product, Design, and Technology leadership.
This is a key leadership role for someone who wants to balance technical strategy, architecture, team leadership, and business impact.
What You’ll Do
Lead and mentor engineers across multiple squads, ensuring alignment with long‑term tech and business goals.
Build career‑development frameworks and identify high‑potential talent.
Promote an inclusive, diverse, and growth‑oriented engineering culture.
Communicate a compelling technical vision and motivate teams through periods of change.
Provide stable leadership during transitions and ambiguous situations.
Technical Strategy & Architecture
Manage a large, complex technology portfolio with high business impact.
Define high‑level architectural direction and approve system‑wide design patterns.
Drive major technical and vendor selection initiatives across teams.
Ensure engineering decisions support broader organizational tech strategy.
Focus on long‑term architecture and technical direction rather than day‑to‑day coding.
Delivery & Operational Excellence
Serve as a key engineering leader in the Product–Design–Engineering (PDE) trio.
Translate technical initiatives into business value and gain stakeholder buy‑in.
Guide products from prototyping to production and beyond.
Oversee performance, scalability, reliability, and optimization of high‑traffic applications.
Improve engineering processes, governance, and development best practices.
Represent the department at internal/external tech events or publications.
Education & Experience
8+ years
in web‑based technologies, with
3+ years
in team/people management.
Degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or related experience.
Digital financial services or fintech experience is highly preferred.
Experience in enterprise‑level architecture and solutioning.
Technical Skills
Strong expertise with
Angular
and
React Native , including
Micro Front‑End architecture .
Hands‑on experience with
Cloud SQL, MongoDB, Redis, SQL Server .
Knowledge of event streaming tools:
Google Pub/Sub, Kafka .
Proficiency in
CI/CD , GitLab, Jira, Confluence.
Strong skills in performance tuning and system optimization.
Leadership & Strategic Strengths
Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
Ability to coach teams through change, ambiguity, and high‑pressure situations.
Expertise across the full SDLC—design, integration, testing, deployment, and support.
Strong risk mitigation skills, ensuring system scalability and maintainability.
Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
