Student : Laundry Aid

Date of employment: May 4, 2026 ot June 22, 2026 End of employment: August 21, 2026 (may remain on-call afterwards)

Use the domestic or commercial washers and dryers to wash and dry the residents’ clothes. Must wash, sort, fold, dry, label and distribute personal clothing to the residents.

Closing date: March 12, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.

All students over 18 years of age must provide a criminal record check upon hiring only (dated no longer than three months prior to the date when it has been requested) and is a condition of employment.

Requirements : Capable of working efficiently as a team member with other staff members; Show tact and understanding towards residents and co-workers; Able to communicate in French and English (verbally and in writing);

Assets: Experience in a laundry facility; Knowledge of Windows MS Outlook; Knowledge of WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System);

Working conditions: Must stand and walk continuously, reach, push and pull equipment and clothing carts during shifts; Able to work in a place that can be hot and humid; Capacity of lifting material of more than 50 pounds on a regular basis with or without help.
