Job Description:
Reporting to the Director of Client Relationship Management, the Investment Analyst will serve as a key member of their dynamic and high-performing CRM, Investment team. The selected candidate will be working closely with internal teams to coordinate the preparation and execution of investment and performance reporting. The role will support Client Facing Managers and contribute to the delivery of reporting and service to their clients.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Providing best-in-class investment and risk reporting, services and supporting their institution clients
Apply sound investment judgement to build and analyze complex reports for client consumption
Produce applicable reports and analysis to be utilized by the CRM senior team in the decision-making process and providing support in general analysis and review of client profiles
Actively managing an existing client schedule of monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables
Lead implementation of reporting and operational enhancement requests
Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the clientโs range of investment, risk and operational offerings and solutions
Create presentation materials for client meetings and supporting senior relationship managers while also interfacing with clients in both virtual and in person meetings
Staying on top of market developments and integrate market data into reporting and ad hoc analysis
Gathering data and related information to quickly respond to client information requests
Conduct research and analysis on a broad range of client focused topics to support decision making at more senior levels on the CRM team
TMGCT
Job Requirements:
Bachelorโs degree in Finance, Economics or related field
Investment related designations such as CFA, FRM, CIPM or CAIA is strongly preferred
3 + years of experience working within the investment industry or related field
Client Relationship Management experience with the investment industry is preferred
Experience working with
Institutional Clients a strong asset
Advanced Excel skills and manipulating large amounts of data using Excel
Excellent Power Point skills putting together presentations for clients
Experience with such applications as Bloomberg, Refinitiv Eikon, MS Access and other project management tools would be an asset
Strong interested in financial markets and investments
Knowledge of investment performance and risk concepts
Strong project management skills
Exceptional work ethics and strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
A self starter who can work well independently and, on a team, or collaborating with other teams
Ability to delivery quality outputs in a fast-paced environment and ability to handle tight deadlines and capable of handling multiple projects and ad-hoc requests simultaneously
