Position Overview The Data Lead will work collaboratively with internal business partners to understand project requirements as needed. With requirements established, they implement both the processes and systems required to fulfill these requirements within our marketing technology software applications. More broadly, this role will act as the organization's subject matter expert for data management in a marketing technology setting, advising marketing and analytics teams as needed.

Core Responsibilities

Design and develop data storage models and pipelines to flow data from source to activation within marketing technology applications

Monitor and report on compliance with all relevant privacy policies (e.g., CASL)

Influence design of customer marketing programs through guidance on optimal data activation strategies

Qualifications

2-4 years of experience working in data‑oriented technical settings; preference for those with experience supporting digital marketing or product

Knowledge of ETL and data modelling activities for both streaming and batch data sources

Proficiency with SQL for data exploration and data model definition

Strong preference for candidates with Adobe Experience Platform experience

Familiarity with AWS tools and/or other enterprise cloud platforms and Python for data transformation is an asset

Salary & Pay $61,600.00 – $113,900.00, Salaried. The above represents AIR MILES’ pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents AIR MILES’ expected target for the first year in this position.

AIR MILES’ total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance‑based incentives, discretionary bonuses, and other perks and rewards.
