Job Description The role focuses on creating, communicating, and facilitating alignment to enterprise-wide application architecture, technology strategy, and standards, including architecture and design principles, guidelines, and common solutions.

Responsibilities

Advancing application architecture in support of DTCC's business and IT strategy, developing roadmaps and blueprints to ensure architecture goals are met in both tactical and strategic frames.

Collaborating with clients and partners to collect and assess requirements and provide strategically aligned solutions.

Architectural documentation: creating a wide range of artifacts, including logical and reference architectures, sequence diagrams, and system flow diagrams.

Providing analytical expertise to assess complex systems and propose effective solutions.

Leading event‑driven architecture initiatives using technologies such as Apache Kafka, distributed MQ, and Amazon Kinesis.

Designing distributed systems architecture across all layers (frontend, backend, data storage, and integration).

Architecting on the AWS cloud platform; experience with Azure and Google Cloud Platform is considered a strong plus.

Data platforms and analytics experience with Snowflake and its ecosystem.

Ensuring standardized application deployment on AWS, leveraging best practices.

Applying secure application design and trusted compute environments.

Defining and implementing solution, platform, and application architecture patterns and standards.

Communicating complex concepts clearly using tools such as Microsoft Visio; experience with Hopex, LeanIX, ServiceNow, ArchiMate, or TOGAF is a plus.

Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI and blockchain is desirable.

Qualifications

Proficient in Enterprise Capability and IT Service Management, with proven experience designing enterprise capabilities and services.

Strong foundation in ITSM principles and practices.

Experience with architectural documentation, logical and reference models, sequence and system flow diagrams.

Analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Hands‑on experience with event‑driven systems and related technologies.

Deep understanding of distributed architecture layers.

Extensive architectural and implementation experience on AWS; familiarity with Azure and GCP is a plus.

Experience with Snowflake data warehousing and analytics.

Experience deploying enterprise‑scale applications on AWS.

Knowledge of secure application design and trusted computing.

Experience in defining and implementing architecture patterns and standards.

Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Visio; experience with architectural platforms (Hopex, LeanIX, ServiceNow, ArchiMate) and TOGAF.

Familiarity with AI and blockchain is desirable.
