**Job Description** The Personal Systems Technical Consultant engages with customers to understand their business needs, designs tailored IT solutions, and presents these solutions as a trusted advisor. This role leverages technical expertise to remove barriers in the selling process, articulates the value proposition of HP products and services, and supports both the sales team and customers throughout the engagement. The Technical Consultant is responsible for technical solution development, pre-sales support, and ensuring successful adoption and integration of HP solutions.**Key Responsibilities** Engage with customers to understand business requirements and design tailored IT solutions that align with technical capabilities and business objectives.**Education & Experience Recommended:**Relevant experience in technical consulting, pre-sales, or solution development (typically 3–5+ years for such roles). Proven experience in technical solution development and pre-sales support. Experience in IT infrastructure, networking, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong understanding of market trends and ability to turn insights into business opportunities.* For positions supporting customers or partners in the Province of Quebec, employees are required to have a basic working knowledge of English, including the ability to read, write, and speak. This knowledge will be used daily for internal management communication.**Knowledge & Skills** Proficiency in solution selling, technical presentations, and product demonstrations.Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts in simple terms. Strong analytical and organizational skills for technical solution development and opportunity qualification. Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools. Market awareness and ability to stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings. : demonstrated curiosity and confidence in adopting emerging tools and technologies—especially AI—to enhance sales performance, customer engagement, and productivity. The ability to quickly learn, adapt, and apply digital solutions in daily workflows, and to use AI insights to drive smarter decisions and more personalized customer interactions.The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $109,300 to $148,650
annually with a 80%/20% (salary/incentive) mix. Pay within this range will be based on the review of experience, skills, and internal equity. As a full time, employee of HP Canada, you will be eligible to participate in the company's group benefit programs, including medical, dental, life insurance, and disability coverage, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. During your employment term, you will receive 15 paid vacation days per year prorated based on your start date.
