AI Engineer – Generative & Agentic AI

BDO Canada invites an experienced AI Engineer to design, implement, and deploy production‑grade AI systems built on large language models (LLMs), orchestration frameworks, and agentic architectures. Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable AI applications using LLMs and agentic frameworks. Implement vector database solutions for semantic search, retrieval‑augmented generation, and knowledge management. Build orchestration pipelines with frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, Agno, or Parlant. Integrate AI systems with workflow automation platforms (n8n, dify.ai, Power Automate) and existing enterprise software. Apply LLM evaluation methodologies (Arize, DeepEval, IBM WatsonX) for model benchmarking and continuous improvement. Collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product owners to deliver production AI solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong software engineering background (system design, distributed systems, APIs, CI/CD). Proven experience building generative or agentic AI systems. Hands‑on expertise with LLM fine‑tuning or integration, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, FAISS), and orchestration frameworks. Proficiency in Python or .NET; cloud‑native deployment on Azure, AWS, or GCP. Experience with workflow automation tools (n8n, dify.ai, Power Automate). Nice‑to‑Have

Familiarity with LLM evaluation frameworks (Arize, DeepEval, IBM WatsonX). Contributions to open‑source AI frameworks or communities. Experience in MLOps, monitoring, and model deployment pipelines. Who You Are
