The Opportunity
The person in this position oversees the indirect sales of Allison Transmission Inc. (ATI) products.
The Role
Meet with customers and help them select the right products for their needs.
Offer various product options and extended warranty programs.
Perform product performance evaluations based on customer requirements (SCAAN program).
Promote Wajax workshops to increase parts and service revenue.
Ensure communication between the dealer network, the distributor, and Allison Transmission Inc.
The Candidate
College diploma or combination of education and relevant technical experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the heavy truck industry
Experience in financial analysis and proposal calculation
Experience in writing proposals or estimates
Experience in designing and presenting technical solutions to customers
Experience in customer relationship management
Experience in commercial negotiation
Dynamism, autonomy, efficiency, and organizational skills
Proactive management of a designated sales territory
Ability to work in a team
Knowledge of project management
Proven leadership skills
Strong communication skills and ability to listen to customer needs
Sense of initiative and willingness to generate opportunities
Strong consulting and technical sales skills for products ranging from the simplest to the most complex
Customer service orientation
Availability to travel (more than 50% of the time)

Compensation:
Base pay $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per annum. Pay may vary based on skills, expertise, and performance, and is a component of the total rewards package.
