Consultant, Change and Release Management (1 year contract/1 year secondment)

Job Description

* **Coordinate release schedules** and activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Development, Quality Assurance, Product Management, and Operations. Develop and maintain release plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessment. Implement best practices for release management, including version control, change management, and release documentation. Conduct release readiness reviews, ensuring that all necessary criteria are met before deployment.* **Manage the deployment process,** including release notes, communication plans, and post-deployment monitoring.* **Continuously improve** release processes through automation, optimization, and feedback loops.* **Relationship Management –** Work closely with Technology and Business stakeholders to develop, test, and implement Big Data Releases. Act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, providing updates on release progress and resolving any issues or concerns.* **Agile Mindset –** Track and analyze operating environment for Big Data Releases and and implement agile practices for efficient delivery in a fast-paced and high performing environment. Work with Technology and Business partners to determine, negotiate, and manage releases to the agreed approaches.* **You can demonstrate around 5 years of experience in** release Management, Data Release Management. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Agile and DevOps. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
