Job Description
The Human Resources Director (HRD) position is based in Edmonton and reports to the Executive Director. The HRD is responsible for managing all aspects of the Human Resources function within the organization, including overseeing employee relations and providing leadership and guidance to the HR team. This role ensures compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations and supervises the performance management process, among other responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director.
The HRD is instrumental in developing and implementing HR strategies that support the organizationโs growth. Working collaboratively with the leadership team, the HRD ensures that HR strategies align with both short-term and long-term goals. Key responsibilities include advising managers and supervisors on employee relations, performance management, policy and program administration, and best practices across the organization.
