Professional, Engineering – Avionics Systems Test Automation

The candidate willberesponsiblefor the development andtestingof software scripts foravionicssystemstest automation for new aircraft development programs.

What are your contributions to the team?

Be part of the Ground and Flight Test Engineering Group,supportingthe coordination and management of ground and flight tests of a newproduct.

Beresponsibleforvarioustasksrelatedto the development and validation ofautomatedtest scripts onavionicssystemsusingtheSuperScriptlanguage.

DevelopSuperScriptcodegenerationtoolsusingvariouslanguagesand makethemaccessible to thesystemsengineering community.

Developsynchronizeddata flowgatewayson ground testbenchesin collaborationwithsystem simulationteams.

Developtoolstoanalyzeautomatedtestresultsthroughanintegratedlogbook.

Developtoolsfor theanalysisofautomatedtestresultsby aninterpretationsystem of thegraphicalenvironmentofavionicsdisplayunits.

CollaboratewiththeAvionicsSystemsteamtoidentifydevelopment and certification test automationneeds

Document test cases,procedures, andresultsfortransparencyandreproducibility.

Continuouslyimprovetest areacoverage,toolefficiency, andreliability.

How to thrive in this role?

You have auniversitydegreeinelectrical, electronics, software, aerospace engineering, orequivalent. A mastersdegreein aerospace engineeringisan asset.

You havebetween5 and 8yearsofexperiencein the aerospaceindustry.

You have goodanalyticalandproblem-solvingskills, and you cantroubleshootanddebugcomplexsystems.

You aimforharmoniousandcoherentteamwork.

You have asolidunderstandingof softwaretestingprinciplesandmethodologies.

You haveexcellent communicationand collaborationskills.

You areproficientin theprogramminglanguagesPython, C#, C++ and VBA.PreviousexperiencewithSuperScriptlanguageisan asset.

You arefamiliarwithvariousserial communicationprotocolslike UART, I2C, CAN, RS-422, ARINC429, etc.

You arefamiliarwithvariousEthernet communicationprotocolslike TCP/IP, UDP, ARINC664, etc. Knowledge of TTEprotocolisan asset.

You are familiar with various development environments (IDEs) such as Visual Studio, Anaconda, Matlab/Simulink, VAPS-XT, etc.
