Production Manager
Sliced FC is a Fresh Cut Processor with two state of the art facilities located in Western Canada. We provide a wide assortment of fruit and vegetable products utilizing produce sourced from certified growers around the world! We are continually growing our selection of food service and retail items, and we specialize in designing custom programs to fit our customers' needs. By being flexible, innovative, and having the ability to deliver within hours to surrounding areas, the Sliced FC team is able to provide long lasting fresh-cut produce.

Responsibilities
Lead the efficient and effective production of fresh cut fruits and vegetables.
Support production staff to ensure proper production flow.
Accountable for ensuring labor and yield targets are met.
Accountable for all production planning and scheduling.
Strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and distribution, with the ability to streamline operations and minimize costs without compromising quality.
Expertise in operational efficiency and process improvement, with a focus on enhancing productivity, reducing waste, and implementing innovative solutions.
Coordinate, allocate, and reconcile orders; communicate inventory levels and needs according to the daily production schedule.
Liaise with staff and managers in the Inventory, Production, QA, and Sales departments within Sliced FC and other Star Produce Ltd. divisions.
Strong communication with production staff and procurement staff.
Enforce corporate policies regarding security and safety in order to maintain a safe working environment.
Ensure that safe work practices are being followed.
Supervise a team of warehouse employees, including hiring, delegation, training, performance evaluation, disciplinary actions, and termination.
Administer disciplinary action in accordance with established procedures.
Analyze departmental operations and identify areas requiring improvement.
Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and delegating work accordingly.
Develop strategic performance metrics and targets that are consistent with company goals.
Ensure employees have clear goals and are aware of expectations.
Ensure that all employees comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Ensure that all staff under your direction are equipped with and using the proper personal protective equipment.
Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback, coaching, and formal evaluations.
Handle customer complaints and comments.
Maintain shift schedules to ensure sufficient employee coverage.
Translate strategic goals into practical actions.
Maintain appropriate and complete documentation regarding regulated products and hazardous materials.
Ensure that employees adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 per year
