What is the Opportunity?
The Head of Strategy, Product & Business Operations leads end-to-end strategy, product direction, and business operating excellence for Hybrid Cloud & Intelligent Operations (HYCIO). This role provides a single point of accountability for strategic planning and execution cadence, platform product strategy and adoption, financial discipline (FinOps), and operational governance—partnering closely with Engineering leadership to ensure platform investments translate into measurable business outcomes.
What will you do?
Strategy Leadership & Execution
Lead annual and multi-year strategy development across Hybrid Cloud and Intelligent Operations
Translate strategy into quarterly priorities, measurable outcomes, and integrated execution plans
Drive portfolio alignment, trade-off decisions, and escalation management across stakeholders
Establish governance forums, operating cadence, and executive-ready narratives
Product Strategy, Roadmap & Adoption
Own platform product strategy and multi-year roadmaps across HYCIO
Ensure prioritization reflects customer needs, adoption signals, platform resilience, and enterprise priorities
Partner with Engineering leadership to align product vision (“what/why”) with delivery plans (“how”)
Oversee customer success, onboarding standards, and digital experience outcomes through the Product Management organization
Financial Discipline & Value Realization (FinOps)
Provide accountability for cost transparency, consumption insights, and value-for-money outcomes
Lead investment framing, business cases, and financial trade-offs in partnership with Finance
Ensure reporting links spend, delivery, adoption, and outcomes to support executive decision-making
Business Operations & Organizational Effectiveness
Lead the business operations function, including planning support, organizational rhythms, and operational governance
Drive internal process improvements and enablement to reduce friction and improve speed to outcome
Support workforce planning, operating model evolution, and leadership enablement as the organization scales
Executive Partnership & Leadership
Act as the operating partner to the SVP, HYCIO, enabling decision velocity and clear accountability
Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Engineering VPs, Architecture, Risk & Compliance, and Finance
Provide clear, concise executive storytelling that connects platform progress to business value
Direct Reports / Organizational Scope
Leadership Expectations
Operates as a senior leader in complex, engineering-heavy environments with strong executive presence
Influences senior stakeholders through clarity, governance, and data-driven decision-making
Balances strategic vision with operational rigor and disciplined execution
Demonstrates strong judgment, prioritization, and ability to drive outcomes through others
What do you need to succeed
Must Have
12–15+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology strategy, product management, platform organizations, or transformation
Proven experience operating at enterprise scale within cloud, infrastructure, or platform environments
Strong financial acumen (budgeting, investment governance, cost management/FinOps concepts)
Demonstrated experience leading multi-functional teams and senior leaders
Ability to translate complex technical initiatives into business outcomes and executive narratives
Experience in regulated industries or financial services is preferred
