We’ve outgrown our family garage but our values remain the same! We are seeking a dynamic, results‑oriented Senior Brand Manager – Main Meal to lead our entry into the fast‑growing pet food category. This role is reporting to the Marketing Director and will play a pivotal role in shaping and launching our main meal strategy across North America. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with deep experience in pet food, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for building brands that pet parents trust. This is an exciting opportunity to:

About You
As the Senior Brand Manager, you are responsible for and empowered to develop brand strategies, promote brand growth and expansion, implement your brand plans, and drive volume and profitability. You will get to define innovation plans, marketing communications, and owned channel experiences for a portfolio of growing brands.
Role and Responsibilities
You will be primarily responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
Lead the strategic development and launch of our main meal portfolio, including product positioning, innovation pipeline, and go‑to‑market strategy.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with R&D, sales, and operations to bring new products to market efficiently and effectively.
Build and execute North American brand plans, with tailored strategies for both Canada and U.S. retail and eCommerce channels.
Partner with consumer insights and category data and identify whitespace opportunities and drive differentiation in a competitive market.
Serve as a brand champion and team leader, mentoring junior marketers and fostering a collaborative, high‑performance culture.
Create and drive the innovation pipeline for a portfolio of on‑trend brands uncovering white space opportunities and supporting portfolio growth
Lead marketing and advertising campaigns, that leverage smart consumer insights, and create a compelling brand narrative
Measure and report on success of marketing campaigns
Identify how our brands are currently positioned in the market & where to take it next
Develop Brand Marketing plans through to execution
Drive profitability by analyzing the Brand’s Profit & Loss (P&L)
Anticipate consumer trends and keep the Brand up to date
Develop plans for U.S. regional grocery excellence
Recipe for Success
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
8+ years of experience in CPG brand management, brand marketing, or marketing management with specific experience in pet food market is strongly preferred.
Proven success in launching new product lines and building brands in competitive categories.
Strong leadership skills and experience managing cross‑functional teams and agency partners.
Collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset; thrives in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
Proven ability to work cross‑functionally.
Experience managing agencies and developing digital campaigns.
Creative thinker and problem solver that is self‑motivated.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Project management experience, with a solid understanding of project management principles and techniques.
