Overview
We are partnering with a growing, multi-site, consumer-focused manufacturing and distribution organization to identify a
Vice President of Information Technology
to lead enterprise technology strategy, execution, and modernization.
This executive will own the company’s technology vision, guide large-scale systems, data, security, and infrastructure initiatives, and build a high-performing IT organization that directly enables business growth, operational efficiency, and scalability. This is a highly visible leadership role working closely with executive leadership and functional heads across operations, finance, supply chain, and commercial teams.
What You’ll Do
Define and execute the enterprise IT strategy aligned to business goals and long-term growth
Lead and scale a high-performing IT organization across applications, infrastructure, data, and security
Partner with executive and functional leadership to modernize systems, improve data integrity, and drive operational efficiency
Establish strong IT governance, standards, policies, and operating models to ensure security, reliability, and compliance
Own enterprise applications strategy (ERP, manufacturing, distribution, corporate systems) and roadmap
Drive cybersecurity strategy to protect digital assets while enabling business agility
Oversee IT financial planning, budgeting, and vendor strategy to optimize spend and ROI
Lead major technology initiatives including system upgrades, integrations, and digital transformation programs
Anticipate technology trends and translate them into practical business value and competitive advantage
Build strong cross-functional relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team
What We’re Looking For
15+ years of progressive IT experience, including senior leadership roles (VP IT, CIO, or equivalent)
Proven experience leading enterprise IT in a
manufacturing and distribution
environment
Deep background in
ERP ecosystems
(SAP or similar), infrastructure, applications, and data platforms
Track record of building and leading strong teams through growth, change, and modernization
Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technology strategy to operational and financial outcomes
Hands-on, pragmatic leadership style paired with strategic, enterprise-level thinking
Experience operating in multi-site, complex environments with diverse stakeholder groups
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business required; MBA preferred

Compensation
This is an exempt executive role. The base salary range for this position in California is
$200,000 – $300,000
per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive components.
