About The Role: Draganfly Innovations is on the lookout for a Field Application Specialist (FAS) to serve as a key technical ambassador for our UAS platforms. In this role, you’ll deliver high‑quality product demonstrations, customer training, and event support—ensuring clients experience our systems at their full potential from first interaction through early adoption.

You’ll work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and customers to bridge the gap between technology and real‑world mission needs. This is a remote position with significant travel and is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic field environments, enjoys hands‑on UAS operations, and excels in customer‑facing technical communication.

Key Responsibilities: UAS Operations

Lead in-person and virtual product demonstrations for prospects and partners

Act as the on-site subject matter expert for Draganfly systems

Prepare and maintain demo systems

Deliver hands‑on or virtual customer training

Support development of training materials and online learning resources

Conduct partner and reseller training

Perform compliant flight operations for demos, testing, and special projects

Events & Trade Shows

Represent Draganfly at industry events, trade shows, and customer days

Operate live demo areas, present to audiences, and engage with customers

Support logistics including shipping, setup, tear‑down, and technical preparation

Interdepartmental Support

Document customer feedback and feature requests

Support Sales with technical scoping and proposal input

Assist with onboarding milestones for new customers

Deliver internal training for sales, marketing, and partner teams

You enjoy collaborating across teams and supporting others in developing technical proficiency

Qualifications:

FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (required)

4+ years in UAS operations or product application roles

Experience conducting customer training or technical demonstrations

Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with mission planning and payloads

Comfortable with frequent travel (50–70%)

Experience with MAVLink-based systems is an asset

Proficiency with CRM and collaboration tools (HubSpot, Teams, SharePoint)

Preferred Specializations

Military: Reconnaissance, FPV, tactical logistics

Law Enforcement: DFR, SAR, tactical indoor flights, accident reconstruction

Commercial: Inspections, LiDAR/surveying, photogrammetry, critical logistics

Compensation package:

Competitive salary: $80,000 – $90,000
